Aran 12 August 2010 - 20 June 2012
Our lovely boy Aran, not even 2 years old.
Suddenly in June 2012 he became ill, it started with a tearing eye. A week and a half later he died in the animal hospital after fighting very bravely.
We were heartbroken, cause the day he died they operated him to give him a feeding tube. I was scared the whole day because they warned us that he possibly wouldn't make it through the operation. But he did, everything went well and they were even hopeful that now he would get better. So we got new hope. But then late in the evening we got the call, that are sweet boy was gone, his lungs had given up.
We went to see him and I took some of his hair with me.
Even when I am writing this, I'm tearing up. He was so sweet, so special.
We now have his little brother Azran with us and we love him with whole our heart, but we still miss Aran every day.
We will never forget you!

So, so very sorry
by: RuthAm so sad for your loss. I am in tears writing this as 2 years ago I lost my precious little tabby - Thea - who was a month short of 2 years old. The loss still really hurts and I feel for you.
She was a beautifully marked domestic short hair and left her companion bereft also. Three months later a new kitten came into our lives, a stunning Tortie/Tabby maine coon we call Nadia. What a character, so much fun and mischief.
We also got a border collie puppy - Glen - a month later having lost our old girl only a month after Thea - a double loss so hard to bear.
The two are firm friends and play together. As has already been said you loved your Aran so much and looked after him beautifully. Be assured that his life was happy with you and he will know that you tried to help him. Have fun with
Azran.

I am very sorry you lost your beautiful Aran
by: MaryHaving said goodbye to 2 of my rescue cats recently, both neither pedigree nor ill, having lived long and healthy lives once I found them and took them in, I know how much it hurts.
You must comfort yourself knowing that while Aran was with you, you did everything you could to provide a wonderful and happy life. And when he became ill, you went to great lengths to try and help him get better. That's really all you can do.
While we are here on Earth we need to try and help each other along, 2 and 4 leggeds :) and take comfort in knowing we did everything we could to make each day special for those we love.
Whether it's for many years or a short few. Aran was indeed a most beautiful cat, and I am sorry he is gone. I hope you take comfort in knowing that he loved you, and knows you loved him and did everything you could for him. Take care, and blessed be.

Aran, a beloved member of your Family
by: Basil SmithI was so sorry to hear about Aran. I have numerous cats, some have Maine Coon in the breeding background and I know how I would feel if we lost one or more of them. He will always be alive and well in your hearts.

Adian
by: HelenHow horrible to looks a cat from being hit! The loser of a driver that hit your baby... clearly has no feelings .. the loser.. should have stopped if not more than to say sorry. By law there would have been little to do..but since our beloved Coons have no voice. well I hate we have become a world of not just not having faith...But plain old common sense and compassion
Hate it...I need to be a pet cop!

My sympathy and prayers
by: HilaryTruly I understand your heartbreaking loss. Every cat is special, every cat irreplaceable. Take comfort
from the happy times you shared, and know that one day you will meet again.
I lost my darling tabby girl Grace when she was only 15 months old. She'd been brought back to life by our wonderful vets after suffering kidney failure (PKD), and lived joyously for another 10 months, only to be killed by a hit-and-run driver.
Her brother Mark and I still miss her so much - a cat-shaped hole in our hearts always. Bless you, and all animals, and all who love them and care for them XXX

Aran's Mom
by: MarthaMy deepest and heartfelt sympathy in your grief! My family and I have a Maine Coon mix named Mozart and we're not sure exactly what his age is because we adopted him.
We think he's about 7 or 8 years. Anyway, I just can't imagine what I'll do when he passes someday. He's such a REAL member of the family. He's actually my baby boy!!!! My thoughts and prayers are with you!

ARAN
by: Karen - Melbourne AustraliaHi Brenda, I feel the pain and sorrow, I had tears in my eyes when I read about Aran only 2 years old that is so sad, I love his colour. My other cat passed away it will be two years this Friday 29th march he died of leukaemia and had severe anaemia, he was 13years old he was a Turkish van.
We had him cremated and he is in a beautiful timber box that sits on the computer desk I still talk and cuddle his box at times, We got a maine coon girl four weeks later she also 2 years old now her name is Tassie and she is so funny.
It brought the laughter back into the house, we couldn't bear the silence once our boy went. Hope this cheers you up a bit they never replace but its the laughter and loving that you give. from Karen and Tassie Girl - Melbourne Australia

I am sorry for your loss of Aran
by: BobI know it hurts. I loss my girl Chewy last January and it was like a knife in my heart. Grown man crying uncontrollably. Just like Aron, Chewy was my pride and joy.
My vet: Dr. Haden and his wife helped us. I had chewy cremated after she died from renal failure. The unit put Chewy in a super beautiful urn which I will have buried with me. Dr.Haden is a great dr.
He put a donation in Chewy's name to the vet school at Cornell. I am forever in his debt. I also have a 21 lb mainecoon: Elie which he is helping me with. I love my kids so much.

Saving hair
by: KimI did the same thing with my cat, Nero, now passed. Wrap the hair tightly in plastic wrap because it will slowly turn grey over time and lose its texture.
You have no idea what caused your cat's death?
