black and white tuxedo catPUDDY

My son and I would sneak her into the house while my husband was at work. My husband said he didn't want a cat in the house. Well, the kitten stayed. We called her Puddy. She was very smart. I would tell here to go lay down on her bed, she would.

My son taught her to knock over pop bottles. Puddy was more that just a cat, she was my best friend. When my husband died, she was there for me and always made me smile.

This morning when I woke up to go to work, I had to make that sad decision to put her to sleep. She was a great friend to our family. She was truly one of a kind. I will miss her with a smile on my face and wonderful memories.

Puddy

My precious Puddy passed on at the age of 16 also. She came to us from the Humane Society. A mistreated stray that became my best friend.

Puddy would come when she was called and slept on my pillow with me every night. She would be on my lap and watch TV with me and listen to me when I needed a friend.

Even though she is no longer with me, she will always live in my heart as I see her still in my mind, never to be forgotten. Puddy was truly a gift from God.

Puddy's double is a stray at my house!!

Oh, Puddy, you gorgeous little stray -- we have one who's survived outside in this horrible, historically cold, polar vortex of a winter. She or he comes to our patio door and eats food scraps (not cat food, nope, mac-n-cheese or beef, thx).

If she sees us at the window, she/he runs away for the rest of the day. Dawn visits, sky still dark, and just after sundown, our stray comes around. I'd love to trap him/her for you to tame. I'd love to have her myself, but s/he's still so shy.

So sorry for the loss of Puddy! Thanks for sharing that story.

They Are Family
by: Tina
Sorry for your loss of Puddy. I have four cats. Two outside, two inside. My husband didn't want any cats at first.

Now he snuggles with them on the couch. In face I think both our indoor cats love him the most. He's their favorite. They are family members and it's so hard to see them go.

It is great to love and to share our lives with our families and our pets. You and your son are special people who have experienced love outside the box.

I recently made the decision to put my 14 yrs old cat down too. I know I made the best decision but it was painful. It's just a part of life. It's great to have loved my cat (Shanti).

RIP Puddy

So sorry to read about your loss of beautiful Puddy. Sounds like you have many great memories to look back on. Thank you for giving a stray a loving home. You have a kind heart. god bless!

Rest in Peace little angel

I'm so very sorry for your loss. Puddy was so special. I can see that from the lovely photo you have shared with us.

Please take comfort from the fact that she will now be at Rainbow Bridge with all our other little angels, free from pain, illness or old age.

She was such a lucky little cat in her life to have such a special and loving owner. I'm sure she will have felt such gratitude for all the love you shared and everything that you did for her. God bless

I am so sorry for the loss of your baby, Puddy. She was so pretty. I know your heart is aching as mine is still for my special calico, Buttercup.

She has been gone for 1 1/2 years. Was 18, and a diabetic for 9 yrs. We had a special bond my family doesn't understand.

Sometimes I wonder why God gives us pets and it seems they are with us for such a short time. I can only hope there really is a Rainbow Bridge so we can all be united with our pets.

Puddy seems as special to you as mine was to me. I hope remembering all the silly things she did gives you much comfort. So sorry!

RIP
Rest easy, Puddy. Keep an eye out for My Catty.

What an elegant boy! Puddy was so classy and cute - hope my Maine Coon, Bear who died of cancer24 months ago) is taking care of Puddy - I still get weepy. I have a almost 3 year old Maine Coon now: Pookey who is quite the funny handful!

Puddy Cat

Dear Bonnie,
I am so sorry for the loss of your baby, Puddy. I went through that last year with my two cats, Sunny and Cody, 15 @18, respectively. It's so hard, I know, having to say goodbye cause they're family, too.

Within a month I got Eli, a tiny four week pld runt who'd had gotten kicked out by his mama and ended up as a bottle baby. Turns out he's a Maine Coon mix, and at a year and a half is a big lovable goofball who really helped me through my losses.

Memories are a wonderful thing, and through Eli I was able to miss Sunny and Cody by having a baby who needed me. Always a good thing to have. Know that Puddy is running free at the Rainbow Bridge and she has friends there.Sincerely,
Lois Anne

Sorry Bonnie, I just called Puddy a boy and Puddy is a girl - I so apologize for the upset I will cause you when you read my message - Nothing worse when a message cannot even been read correctly in the first place.

I am sorry for you loss of your girl. I now have a 2 1/2 year Maine Coon called Tassie Girl who has been a big help with the healing process, I couldn't stand the silence after my boy had gone.

So we didn't expect to get a girl we wanted another boy but at the shelter they told us it was a boy and when I went to get him desexed we had our selves a little girl and she is the best cat ever. God bless and it takes time to heal. Regards Karen.

My heart goes out to you Bonnie, for the loss of your gorgeous boy "Puddy" gone to the big Rainbow bridge.

I lost my boy two years ago and I had to put him down due to having every severe anaemia and leukemia and I had him cremated and he is now in a beautiful timber box which I have sitting just here with me on my computer desk where he always annoyed when I was on the computer, I miss him just like you would with Puddy but the memories are always with you.
God Bless from Karen

treasure the memories

Deepest sympathy for your loss. It's wonderful that you had so many beautiful years together with Puddy and I hope those memories will bring you comfort.

I've lost many dear pet friends over the years and it never gets any easier, but I've come to learn that the pain of loss is the price for the love. It's always worth it.

So very sorry. I KNOW how you feel. Lost my lovely and very sweet (and smart)Priscilla Pooh last year to cancer. I think I cried off and on for at least a week.

I still feel very sad at her demise, but she was so very very sick. Her sister is still here with me, though, and is a very very sweet cuddly girl who sleeps with me and with one paw over on my arm. Both of these girls are such "lovies".

A cat bonds to one's soul like no other and to lose that love is hard to deal with. I hope you find another to share life and joy with.

I am so sorry for your loss. Losing a fur baby is very sad. I lost two of my sweet babies in one year. It helped me to write about them in a journal. RIP Puddy.

Aaawww what a wonderful story. I too understand the joy that you experienced in such loving and sensitive creatures. So sorry about Puddy as I know he gave you such joy!

I also am a mom of my maine coon 'tazi' and he is 12yrs. They are so intelligent and loving cats. Your story has inspired me. You gave him the best he's ever had, a loving home. RIP Puddy!!
