I adopted him a few months ago and I was told he was a Maine coon/Domestic longhair mix. His tail is very long and poofy but the fur on his body isn’t poofy just long. I would like some feedback on what you guys think.

This is Frankie (darker one) and Snickers.
My sister found them in some bushes and we tried to find their owners, but no one claimed them. They were tiny (around 1 lb each), and the vet said maybe not even 4 weeks old.
I fell in love with them immediately, so I don’t care if they are MC, but there is a cattery about 45 minutes from where they were found that “specializes” in tortie/torbies, so I thought I’d ask.
They are so funny, they make soft chirping noises, and try to meow like our dsh, but it doesn’t come out the same.
They warmed up to the dog and kids quickly, and have silky hair, large ears with lynx tips, paw tufts, and Frankie seems to be polydactyl.
Google lens (I know not 100% accurate) says Maine Coon, and when they went back to the vet a week after we got them, everyone commented on how much bigger they already were.
They’ve more than doubled in weight and size in about 3 weeks, but they could also have been malnourished. Just wanted to ask about them.
I can send more pictures. We love them so much. Thanks in advance.

I adopted chingo a little over 10 years ago from a shelter who had gotten him as a transfer from another shelter in a neighboring county.
They didn’t know his age but approximated he was 1.5 years old. He was known to be the most talkative of all the shelter cats and made it very clear he did not appreciate being in a cage.
He has always been obsessively attracted to males slightly more than females tho he LOVES every stranger and is very social and quirky.
My friends even joke that his ultra sociable personality can come off and creepy or almost “stalker-ish” being as though he has no concept of boundaries (I would relate it to golden retriever energy)
He loves being outside as much as possible and will spend all day sunning on the porch and giving speeches to the neighborhood from the third story.
He is relentless when he wants something and also super playful and ornery.
As for his physical characteristics, he’s not too impressively large weighing in around 10-11 lbs but had always had impressive tufts of fur in his ears and crazy long whiskers as well as beautiful coloring.

Meet Mickey, our adorable new family member! At just 2.5 months old, he's a bundle of energy and joy.
He has a playful nature and always engaged with his toys. When he's not darting around, Mickey loves to snuggle, offering affection to everyone in the family.
I’ve been told that he looks like he might have some Coon in him but I’m not sure.

Sweetie is patiently waiting for me to sit down with her. This is during the time that she was separated from Buddy.
She is quiet, until she hungry or wants her litter box cleaned. Mellow and laid back, so sweet and loves to cuddle.
She’s been through so much. OMC Rescue is where I adopted her, and from a nice foster mom.
Alice was adopted into our family a month ago. According to her chart, she is officially a senior, was feral and in severe and life threatening condition.
Malnourished weighing 7 lbs., and now she is at home with our other adopted guy, Buddy. She is still showing aggression with our 24 lb little guy after being separated and exchanging scents for a month.
I don’t know what else to do about their hissing and aggression. I also don’t know her breed, is she mixed? I have a lot to learn.

Emily is a 9 week old female. The owner said her dad is a Maine Coon mix. I've had her a week.
She loves to cuddle, very talkative, and loves attention. Her paws are as big as my 1 year old siamese cats and she's already half the size of him. She's also really playful.

Wiskie
We got Wiskie 17 years ago from the humane society in Calgary Alberta.
We were told he was estimated to be 5 years old at the time. He was found wandering around in the snow. His size has always fascinated us.
He has super long legs. In his prime he was roughly 18lbs. He’ll be coming up on 22years old soon. We love our sweet boy.

My sweet girl was a rescue from our neighborhood.
The mother is an orange tabby but the father is this HUGE brown tabby that looks just like her that roams the neighborhood.
We’ve heard he belonged to an elderly man somewhere nearby. Maybe he passed away and the cat got away? We’re not sure.
He’s got to be a good 15lbs. She herself is just a small girl like her mama despite looking just like her father.
Her personality is very calm, loyal, follows me around like a puppy and begs for me to share snacks. She has to sleep with me every night. She's my best friend and it’s clear I'm hers.

Wheezer is around 15 years old. He has the sweetest temperament.
I feel he is a coonie mix, perhaps with some tabby. He has big tufts on his paws between toes. He weighs about 14 pounds.
He is verbal only when he wants to eat. He has thick fur, which I try to brush every day.

He was found in a garage at the end of January 2025. The Vet said Maine Coon cats are never stray.
She weighed him and gave him a good exam. She found he had a heart murder but tests showed no heart damage. He was 7 months old and weighed 11.2 lbs.
At the end of the appointment, she said he was Maine Coon and perhaps abandoned due to his heart issue.
