He got diabetes in 2005 and he was doing pretty well until the spring of 2008. He was misdiagnosed and had a nasal tumor. It tore me apart to let him go. I so love him. His spirit will always be with us. He was one special boy. I will always miss him. He was 13.

Regis loved to sleep in the sink and loved the lawn patch and his catnip plants.

know what he did for you
by: David from South Africa
my cat Tiger passed away 3 years ago with feline leukemia and I am still not over him. I sometimes wonder if it is morally correct to love an animal so much.

I had a painting made of Tiger. My family replaced Tiger with Merlin the magic cat. He is a Maine Coon and there is not enough space here to tell you how much I love him.

Never forget your cat if he has done for you what my cats have done for me. I can understand fully what you say. They are my mental specialist to keep me sane. I am only allowed to have 3 cats maximum where I stay. Wish I could keep more.

Such a beautiful cat

Rest in peace pretty boy. I am sorry for your loss.

It hurts to lose one you love
by: Nellie's Mom
I know how much that hurts. I lost my black and white, Chance, a few years ago. The vets scoped him and couldn't find out why he was so sick.

I finally took him to a specialty clinic and when I came back the vet said he had an inoperable tumor and would have died in a few weeks.

And he had been dancing on the exam table hours before. Every one was crying and I had to go home with an empty cage! We left on vacation the next day and I cried for him every night. Our other boy, Ernie, kept calling out to him and it was heart-breaking. He was 13.

Regis aka Pretty Boy

Regis was such a pretty boy. I think all animal custodians know how you feel about the loss of him. They are a very integral part of the family and rightly so. I know he will always be a special kitty to you.

So sorry

What a beautiful cat! I'm so sorry for your loss. I've also lost two of my babies, one just last November. They are missed

So Sorry About Regis
So sorry for your loss. I just lost my Sophie a Main Coon too and i am heart broken.

Nasal Tumor
by: Kim
I feel so sorry for Regis because I had a similar situation with Nero. The vet first diagnosed him as having nasal mites but a specialist took his blood and surgically removed a tumor from his nasal passage which gave him another 6 months before the tumor returned and ... well...

RIP
He was a very handsome boy. I am sorry for your loss.

We also have a 9 year old male he is just like our son we never had, I never thought I would love anything that much, but we do, I am so sorry for your loss and may God be with you and your family.
